Lowland CU Merging With ORNL

Those who have accounts at Lowland Credit Union should have received an e-mail from the credit union last week. The e-mail contained a major announcement from Lowland Credit Union president and CEO Mark Creech. Lowland Credit Union is going to be merging with ORNL Federal Credit Union. This merger will not mean that Lowland Credit Union is going away, what it means is more services being available to its customers and that includes having access to many more branches across East Tennessee. The ORNL credit union has locations in 19 counties in East Tennessee that Lowland Credit Union members will have access to. The merger of Lowland Credit Union with ORNL is expected to be complete during the second quarter of this year, pending regulatory and member approval. Credit Union members will receive further e-mails with updates concerning the merger.

Lowland Credit Union has been serving members for over 70 years, while ORNL Federal Credit Union celebrated their 75th anniversary in 2023.
