Madison County NC Authorities Investigating Second Homicide In A Week

Police in neighboring Madison County North Carolina are investigating their second homicide in a week. Sheriff Buddy Harwood confirmed that his department is investigating a homicide in the Burton Cove area…that is several miles east of Hot Springs. The sheriff says his department is currently working on obtaining felony murder warrants in that case. Not much information is being released about that homicide. This follows last Wednesday’s killing in roughly the same area. 51 year old Richard Towe Sr. is accused of killing Cody Garrett with a bow and arrow in that homicide.
