Man Arrested For Disorderly Conduct At Taco Bell
Wednesday night, Newport police were dispatched to Taco Bell in reference to a disorderly customer causing an altercation in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officer Paul Webber observed a male and female yelling at each other from across the parking lot. The female stated that the male, John Fields had recklessly driven through the parking lot nearly striking her car full of kids. She also stated that she observed Mr. Fields aggressively approaching Taco Bell employees. The restaurant manager stated that Mr. Fields became upset and aggressive over a food order. Mr. fields was asked to leave after beating on the locked doors, however continued yelling and cursing and harassing customers and employees over his food order. Mr. Fields was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct, and transported to the Cocke County Jail Annex.
