Man Arrested For Jogging Nude

People at Walgreen’s in Newport on Monday afternoon got quite the unexpected sight. Police had been called about a nude man jogging along the roadway in front of Walgreen’s and that he was headed towards Newport Federal Bank. Officers located the naked man jogging toward the front of the bank. Officers got the man into the back of the patrol car and made him cover himself. The man was later identified as Jesse Romero who was found to be considered a missing person out of Knox County. Romero reportedly suffers from non-violent schizophrenia. He was placed under arrest for public indecency and public intoxication.
