Man Arrested In Drug Raid At Dandridge Motel

Agents from the 3rd and 4th Drug task force along with deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office and officers from the Dandridge Police Department made a drug bust Friday at a Dandridge Motel. Officers raided a room at the Super 8 Motel on Hwy 92 near I-40. Over one pound of meth and a quarter pound of fentanyl was seized in that raid plus several hundred dollars in cash. A male suspect was arrested and charged with felony possession of narcotics. The name of that suspect has not been released as the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office says this is an ongoing investigation and federal charges are pending.
