Man charged After Shooting At Vehicle With Shotgun

A Cosby woman called police after a man shot at her and another person with a shotgun. Rebecca Williamson says she and Scott Cushner of Newport drove over to Bronze Way to get some things out of a building, when 44 year old George Green started firing on her vehicle with what turned out to be a 12 gauge shotgun. Deputies observed a headlight on Williamson’s vehicle had been shot out. George Green was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and vandalism for the damage he caused to the victim’s vehicle with the shotgun.
