Man Shoplifting At TSC Threatens Manager and Customer

Newport police are trying to locate a man who attempted to shoplift from Tractor Supply and then threatened an employee and a customer. Caleb Cutshaw, The manager at Tractor Supply ,told police that a customer had observed the suspect pocketing merchandise. When the suspect was confronted, he pulled $6 worth of bolts from his pocket. The man was asked to leave the store but the suspect became confrontational and threatening. The customer who had observed the suspect shoplift was also threatened. Cutshaw says the man left the store and drove off in a white Nissan, Altima or Nissan Sentra, with dark tinted windows….traveling eastbound on Broadway. Both Cutshaw and the customer witness told police they would file charges if the man could be identified.
