Morristown police arrested a known criminal over the Labor Day weekend after observing him leaving an address on Shareef Drive. 22 year old Jordan Holt had several warrants for his arrest in Hamblen County. Police watched as Holt got into the passenger side of a Mazda pickup…then when he was inside with the door closed approached the front of the vehicle. Holt was told to exit the vehicle with his hands raised…as he got out he dropped his left hand and reached toward his back pocket…officers quickly apprehended him and inside that back pocket found a small 22 revolver with 6 rounds inside. The revolver had a taped grip and no serial number. Holt also had drug paraphernalia in him as well. He was arrested for the outstanding warrants plus possession of a weapon by a felon among other charges.
