Man wanted On Felonies Leads CCSO On Chase

A man in a pickup truck led Cocke County deputies on a chase that took them around the Halls Top area. 25 year old Kevin Fowler was wanted on several felony warrants. He evaded deputies in the area of Yellow Springs Road. Fowler was later spotted by another deputy on Halls Top Road. Fowler ignored blue lights and siren from the patrol car and continued fleeing in a reckless manner on Halls Top Road heading towards the Grassy Fork area. Fowler would slow to nearly a stop, then would speed off again, spraying gravel and rocks onto the windshield of the deputies’ patrol car.

Fowler was caught after he tried to drive through a field, but got stuck. He then attempted to flee on foot into the woods but was quickly caught and held at gunpoint till more deputies arrived. Fowler now faces more charges that include evading arrest and reckless driving. Fowler was originally wanted for Theft Over $10,000 and Financial Exploitation Of An Elderly Individual.
