Medic Blood Center Seeking Donations

Medic Regional Blood Center is seeking blood donations before the 4th of July weekend. Kristy Altman with Medic says the blood center is at low inventory, which means they have just a five day supply of blood on hand, which is dangerously low. She says they normally like to have at least a 10 day supply on hand. This week marks the end of Medic’s “End Less Blood Summer” donation event. All donors are qualified to win some great prizes including a Yeti cooler. The Medic Mobile Blood Center will be back in Newport for the final day of the event this Friday June 30th. Medic will e at Warehouse Furniture Liquidators form 10am.-5pm. You can go online to mediclood.org to make an appointment to donate.
