Medic Names New President And CEO

The MEDIC Regional Blood Centers Board of Directors has announced Alan Watson as their new President and Chief Executive Officer. Watson has spent 30 years in healthcare administration, most recently serving as the Interim CEO for LifePoint Health System. Previously, he has served as the CEO for hospitals in Cleveland, TN, Knoxville, and Columbia, TN. He replaces Jim Decker, who announced his retirement in July 2022, but will work with Watson during a period of transition through April 30. Alan Watson will start as President and CEO of Medic on March 13.
