Medic Regional Blood Center To Honor First Responders

As we get closer to September 11th and the 20th anniversary of 9/11…next week the Medic Regional Blood Center will honor first responders with First Responders Celebration Week. Next Friday, September 3rd is 9/11 Remembrance Day in Cocke County and the Medic Mobile Blood Center will be at the Newport Medical Center from 11-6 taking blood donations. All who donate next week or next Friday here in Newport will receive a free t-shirt…a Texas Roadhouse coupon…and are entered to win a $1,000 e-gift card to be given out at the end of September. All first responders who donate will also receive a free commemorative pin plus a t-shirt.
