Megan Boswell Back In Court Today

Megan Boswell is due back in court today in Sullivan County. She is the woman charged in the death of her daughter, 18 month old Evelyn Boswell back four years ago. The little girl had not been seen since December of 2019, and the body was finally found on family property in March of 2020. Last year, Megan Boswell was granted new counsel and that new attorney is expected discuss a change of venue motion that Boswell’s former attorney had filed. The case has drawn much publicity in East Tennessee.

The prosecution is seeking a life sentence in this case. The trial for Megan Boswell is scheduled to get underway in February of 2025.
