Mekiah Davis Captured

A fugitive from the law in back in custody. Late Friday, police in Sevier County along with the help of the US Marshall’s office and the 4th Judicial Drug Task Force took 18 year old Mekiah Davis into custody. Davis had left a Dandridge Juvenile Center on January 20th, then cut off his ankle monitor. Davis was involved in a police chase in Hamblen County where he faces 14 charges. Back when Davis was 15 he stole a truck and crashed it into another vehicle driven by a pastor and his wife who were both killed.
