Memorial Stone Vandalized

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in finding out who vandalized a memorial stone behind the National Guard Armory. The sheriff’s office says the stone had been knocked over 1 day and thrown off an embankment the next. The sheriff’s office says if the vandal is caught, they will be prosecuted. anyone with information regarding this act of vandalism should contact the sheriff’s department at 423-623-3064.
