Misuse Of H.O.A. Funds

A case of misuse of funds at a Cocke County homeowners’ association. Angelle McKee with the Emerald Pointe Subdivision homeowner’s association told the Cocke County Sheriff’s office that over $11,000 was missing from their account at Newport Federal Bank. McKee says that the fund were used by Reginald Finegan to maintain his private driveway. McKee told the Sheriff’s office she had documentation stating Finegan is not supposed to use the H.O.A. funds for personal use. According to McKee, the homeowner’s association had allowed Finnegan time to repay the money, but he had not done so. There have been no charges filed at this time in that case.
