Morristown Business Broken Into

Morristown police are looking into the break in of a local business. Police responded to the scene at 5053 west Andrew Johnson Hwy…The Kickback Lounge…Officers spoke with Rick Coffey who stated that sometime between Sunday at noon and Monday at 09:22, an unknown individual had broken into the business and stolen money. Officers located a cash register smashed and a safe broken into…Coffey stated there was $200.00 cash in the safe. Officers also noticed coin machine games had been opened via keys and approximately $800.00 had been taken from those machines. Coffey also told officers a TV valued at $150 had been smashed. He also stated that the outdoor lights had all been damaged so the individual would be in a dark area at the front door. Police are investigating.
