Morristown Man Arrest For Domestic Abuse

Early Thursday morning police in Morristown were dispatched to a home on McFarland Street about an assault. Officers found the victim 45 year old Laquita Collins sitting in front of her apartment with a large laceration to her face. She stated that her boyfriend, 33 year old Jarvis Harris cut her with a knife. Police spoke with Harris in the apartment who stated that the couple got into an argument and he had grabbed a kitchen knife and began waving it around cutting the victim in the face. There were other signs of violence found on the victim, so police officers arrested Harris charging him with aggravated domestic violence.
