Morristown Man Charged With Aggravated Assault

A man in Morristown has his firearm to thank for not becoming the victim of crime. Shortly after midnight police were called to the Lincoln Avenue apartments…19 year old John chessman stated a man identified as 36 year old Deron Jamal Brashers had knocked on his door. When Chessman opened it, rashers attempted to push his way into the residence. Chessman says that it is when he pulled his pistol and pointed it a Brashers who then fled. Brashers was found sitting in a pickup truck in the apartment complex. He was combative when police tried to take him into custody and was wrestled to the ground by officers. He is charged with aggravated burglary and resisting arrest.
