Morristown Man Could Face Charges in Deadly Knoxville Shooting

The shooting death of a man in Knoxville could result in charges being brought against a Morristown man. Last Friday, 65 year old Danny Smith of Bean Station was shot and killed in Knoxville on Hilton Road. Knoxville police have named 59 year old Christopher Williams of Morristown as a suspect. Both the victim and the suspect were employees of a shipping company in Knoxville called YRC Freight. Police say that the District Attorney’s office in Knoxville is reviewing the case and charges could be filed against Williams in that deadly shooting.
