Morristown Police Close Homeless Camp on Private Property

Police in Morristown forced the closure of a homeless camp that had been set up on private property. Police officers and the city code officer made contact with 4 individuals who were sleeping in a tent behind Fisher Auto Parts on Lincoln Avenue. The 4 were advised by the property owner to vacate the property and not return. Police officers noted piles of trash were all over the area including by a nearby creek. The 4 individuals were cited into court for criminal littering.
