Morristown Police Halt Burglary In Progress

Late Monday afternoon Morristown police were dispatched to a home on Sulphur Springs Road about a burglary in progress. Melissa Lamb stated she was driving past her mother’s house and saw a man she recognized trying to pry a screen door loose to gain access to that house. Police met 37 year old Josh Young as he came out the back door of the house. He has been charged with aggravated criminal trespass and vandalism. The home’s owner was not at home during that incident.
