Morristown police Investigating Possible Missing Woman

Morristown police are investigating a possible missing person. Police spoke this week with Michael Horner of Bulls Gap about his 33 year old daughter Amber James…whom he has not seen or spoken with since last Saturday, June 26th. Horner told police that he was letting Amber James stay at his mother’s house on Manley Court Circle in Morristown. He stated that Amber’s ex husband Landon James Jr. had come to that house to pick her up to take her to a car show at Rural King in Morristown. Horner stated he went down to that location to give his daughter a ride home and neither she nor his ex son-in-law were there.

Horner stated that on Wednesday he had gotten a text from his daughter to say she was fine, but the text did not come from her phone. He told police that she has been recently dating a man named Roger Rathbone…but police did not find him at home.
