Morristown Woman Arrests After Hiding Drugs In Bra

A Morristown police officer arrested a young woman Wednesday afternoon after finding she had drugs…in her bra. The officer spotted a Ford Expedition traveling in both lanes of travel and straddling the center line. That vehicle turned onto Buffalo Trail where the officer commenced a traffic stop. Driving that vehicle was 38 year old Brandi Houchins of Morristown. She told the officer that she just purchased the vehicle and there was alot of “play” in the steering wheel plus she was putting on makeup while driving. The officer noticed that she was fidgeting with her shirt near her bra area. At that time, he noticed a small crystal like substance falling out from under her shirt but sticking to her skin…suspecting it was meth.. he called for a female officer who arrived at the scene. That female officer indeed found a bag under the Houchins bra consistent with drug use. Officers searched the vehicle and found multiple drug paraphernalia items and a Hi-Point 9mm pistol complete with mag containing 9 rounds. Houchins was charged with schedule IV narcotics possession along with unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with evidence.
