National Crime Prevention Month

October is National Crime Prevention Month. The Sevierville police department says that makes it a good time to reassess the security and safety of your home. Police say you should check the locks on your doors and windows to make sure they are in good working order. If you have motion detectors inside or outside your home, an alarm system, or a doorbell video system, you should check those as well.
