National Night Out Set For Sevier County
The Sevier County Sheriff’s Department is sponsoring a National Night Out on Tuesday August 3rd. The event will be at the Sevier County Fairgrounds from 5-8 that evening. There will be live music, free hot dogs and cotton candy, games and prizes for both children and adults…raffles for prizes will occur every 15 minutes and the Sheriff’s Department will be handing out free tickets to area attractions, shops and restaurants.
Authorities say The National Night Out is a program that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, and more caring places to live. In addition they say the program enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
