NC Man Admits Filming Young Girls At Local Waterparks

Back in June, North Carolina authorities arrested 45 year old Christopher Ernest Stefan of Haw River, NC for filiming young girls at a waterpark in North Carolina and East Tennessee. Authorities released a statement over the weekend conforming that the waterpark in East Tennessee was Wilderness of the Smokies in Sevierville.

Police in North Carolina say that on June 3rd during a search of Stefan’s home and outbuildings, they found numerous files of child sex abuse materials on Stefan’s computers. Officers also said they found homemade gun suppressors and machines used to make them. A short barrel rifle with a suppressor attached to it was along with a small amount of cocaine were found in Stefan’s home.

By looking at the videos investigators were able to determine that the ones recorded in East Tennessee were at Wilderness of the Smokies. Police say that the videos filmed at that local waterpark are not enough to charge Stefan with any crimes in Sevier County.
