Nearby Laundromats Offering Assistance

One of the issues for Cocke County residents is doing laundry. With no water available right now, even laundromats in Newport are unusable. That leaves thousands of residents with no way to wash clothes. But, there is help.  Bubbles and More Laundromat in Morristown is offering free laundry service for those affected by the flooding in Cocke County. Anyone with a Cocke County address can do their laundry for free at Bubbles and More today and tomorrow, Wednesday October 2. Hours are from 7am to 9:30pm. They have two locations, 132 Barkley Landing Dr. and Sunshine Laundromat at 1590-A Buffalo Tr.

Well Wishing Laundromat in Gatlinburg is offering free use of their washers and dryers, as well as detergents, for any Newport resident with ID for proof of address. They will have an attendant on site through the end of next week to assist. Their hours are 9am-8pm. Wishing Well Laundromat is located at 951 East Parkway #12-13, Gatlinburg.
