Nearly 2200 Voters Have Cast Ballots Early

Early voting continues this week. According to the Cocke County Election Commission, the biggest day for early voting was July 15th, the first day early voting was open. However, a steady stream of voters have taken advantage of being able to cast their votes early. So far, through Saturday, July 23rd, nearly 2200 people have voted early…that exact number, 2,192. Early voting will be open at the polling site in the Western Plaza Shopping Center from 9-5 today through Thursday, then 9-6 Friday and the last day for early voting is this Saturday, July 30th from 9-noon. Election Day is one week from Thursday, August 4th.
