Newport Alderman Bobby Knight Dies

Newport Alderman Bobby Knight has died. Mr. Knight passed away on Monday at the age of 77. He formerly worked as a battalion chief at the Newport Fire Department and had been a city Alderman since his first election in 2014. Mr. Knight was also a realtor with Mason Realty and a member of the Newport Masonic Lodge. Visitation for Bobby Knight will be Thursday from 4-7 at Manes Funeral Home with the funeral to follow. Entombment in Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum will be on Friday at 10am.
