The recent cold weather has some dreaming of winter outdoor activities. Just in time, Ober Mountain in Gatlinburg is getting ready for the winter season. Even though Ober Mountain now has two machines that can manufacture snow at temperatures as warm as 70 degrees, the recent cold weather has given them a good start in getting the slopes ready.

The snow tubing park will open at Ober Mountain this Saturday, November 15 and the ski slopes will open the next Saturday, November 22. That’s just in time for Thanksgiving week.
