Oliver Anthony Knoxville Show Moving To Sevier County
The Oliver Anthony Knoxville concert is on the move again. The man behind the social media smash “Rich Men North Of Richmond” was originally booked to play Cotton-Eyed Joe’s in Knoxville on September 27. However a dispute over $99 ticket prices led Oliver Anthony to cancel that show. The show was then moved to the Knoxville Convention Center on September 29, with ticket prices lowered to $25. Now, due to demand for tickets and the need for a bigger venue, the Oliver Anthony show continues its move eastward and will now be at Smokies Stadium in Kodak. That show in the 6,000 seat stadium will take place a week from tomorrow, Thursday, September 28. Tickets for the Knoxville Convention Center show will be honored for the new date and venue. Refunds will be available for 72 hours beginning at 10 a.m. this morning at the point of purchase for anyone who bought tickets for the Knoxville Convention Center show but cannot go to the show on the 28th at Smokies Stadium. Oliver Anthony says he was blown away by the ticket demand as the Knoxville Convention Center show was sold out in two hours, showing the need for a bigger venue. He says he may do another show in the area next spring.
