Parrottsville Man Arrested, Domestic Assault

A Parrottsville man has been arrested following a domestic assault investigation. On October 21st, a woman identified as April Peters went to the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office to report that her husband, Rusty Reynolds, had struck her several times in the face. Deputies noted visible swelling and small cuts around her left eye. Peters told officers she wanted to press charges. Deputies later located Reynolds at a residence on Looney Road. He denied hitting his wife, but based on her injuries and witness statements, Reynolds was taken into custody and transported to the Cocke County Old Jail without incident.
