Police Called To Pizza Hut Possible Drug Activity
Police were called to the Pizza Hut on Cosby Hwy after a car was blocking the entrance and exit to the restaurant. The two people inside were possibly doing drugs. Police arrived and found a black Ford blocking both ways in and out of the Pizza Hut parking lot. Both the driver and the passenger appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. The driver, 39 year old Mary Gilmore told law enforcement that she thought she was in a parking space and had pulled over to take a nap. She stated she had smoked marijuana two days earlier. However, Gilmore could not follow simple basic instructions for field sobriety tests. The passenger, 39 year old Brian Nelson had uncontrollable movements and also like the driver seemed to be under the influence of several narcotics. Gilmore was arrested for DUI, Nelson was charged with DUI y consent.
