Police Get a Two For One Arrest

Newport police got a two for one Thursday night when they arrested two individuals in one vehicle…both of them had outstanding warrants. 41 year old Jessica Nease who was driving a Jeep Liberty, was wanted for theft up to $1,000. Her passenger was 24 year old Chad McGaha who also had a capias out of Cocke County for theft of property. A purse was found in the vehicle belonging to Jessica Nease which contained several needles used for taking illegal drugs. A tin can was found shoved down inside the passenger seat that Chad McGaha admitted was his. That tin can contained heroin. Nease was charges with drug paraphernalia…McGaha was charged with manufacture, sale or delivery of Schedule I narcotics.
