Residents Warned About Suspicious Packages In Mail

Authorities in Middle Tennessee are warning Tennessee residents to be on the lookout for a suspicious package in the mail. In Dickson County several individuals have received what looks like an envelope from Amazon that looks like it contains a gift card. However, the small, square white envelope contain a white powdery substance. Authorities are not sure what the substance is, but it could be harmful. Dickson county authorities say that Tennessee residents need to be aware of the envelopes and anyone who gets one should not open it, but if they do, to not touch the white powder. Anyone who receives a suspicious envelope like this should call police.
