Santa Hustle Race Comes To The Smokies

A traffic note to make you aware of regarding traffic on the parkway in Sevierville and Pigeon Forge next weekend. On Sunday, December 12th…The parkway will be filled with people in Santa Claus attire….racing in the Santa Hustle Road Race….which is a national event with races in 10 locations around the country. The 5k and half marathon race will start at Wilderness of the Smokies on Gists Creek Road and go all the way to Pigeon Forge. The race will turn onto the parkway at Gists Creek Road and continue south in the right hand lane…which will be blocked off to vehicle traffic. The race will follow the parkway all the way into Pigeon Forge where it will end at where else…but…The Christmas Place. Sevierville Police Department wanting to advise drivers that the southbound lanes of the parkway will be down to two lanes during the race which will run from 7:30am till noon on Sunday, December 12th…
