Second Year Of CCSO Outreach Program Starts In October
The Cocke County Sheriff’s office has announced the beginning of the second year of the sheriff’s community outreach program. Throughout his first year in office, Sheriff CJ Ball held these community outreach meetings throughout the county. Friday begins the sheriff’s second year in office, and the community outreach program will also begin its second year. The second year of those meetings kicks off where the first year began as well, in the Bybee and Centerview Community. That meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 9 at the Centerview Ruritan Club, 103 Airport Road, in Bybee. The community outreach meetings give you the opportunity to speak with the sheriff and his officers. The sheriff says these meetings are important because it gives you the chance to ask questions and get answers. Plus, Sheriff Ball says he wants Cocke County’s citizens to understand the operations of the sheriffs office, detention center, and other operations within the sheriff’s office. That meeting on October 9 begins at 6pm.
