Several Tennessee Vols Heading To The NFL
Several Tennessee Vols are headed to the NFL after being taken in the NFL Draft which began on Thursday night and ended Saturday afternoon. No Vols were taken in the first round, but it did not take long Friday night for the first Tennessee Vol to hear their name called as Cornerback Colton Hood was taken with the 37th overall pick by the NY Giants. Other Vols taken in the draft,
Round 3, Pick 83: Chris Brazzell II, WR, Carolina Panthers
Round 4, Pick 101: Jermod McCoy, CB, Las Vegas Raiders
Round 5, Pick 147: Joshua Josephs, EDGE, Washington Commanders
Round 7, Pick 222: Tyre West, DL, Detroit Lions
Quarterback Joey Aguilar went undrafted. He is headed to the NFL as an undrafted free agant, signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Tennessee Titans surprised a lot of people when they went with WR Carnell Tate with their first round pick at number 4 overall. The Titans then traded back into the first rounbd later Thursday night and took edge rusher Keldric Faulk out of Auburn. This was the first time since 2017 that the Titans had two picks in the first round.
