Sevier County Authorities Investigating Car Burglaries At Dollywood

Police in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville are investigating after nearly a dozen cars were burglarized in the Dollywood parking lot Sunday evening. Pigeon Forge police say that three black males broke into 11 vehicles at Dollywood Sunday and left in a Jeep Cherokee. Police spotted the suspects and pursued them but had to abandon that pursuit for public safety. Those three male subjects then forced occupants out of a 2024 Lincoln Aviator at the Clarion Hotel on the parkway in Sevierville. That vehicle was later found abandoned near Crossville.

Police say that numerous items that were stolen from the vehicles at Dollywood were found in the Jeep Cherokee the three men abandoned when they carjacked the occupants of the Lincoln Aviator. Police are advising visitors to Dollywood to make sure they lock their vehicles and make sure they not leave any valuables in sight.
