Sevierville Christmas Parade Could Lead To Traffic Issues

If you will be heading to Sevierville on Saturday, be advised that Saturday is the day for Sevierville’s Christmas parade downtown. That will cause some street closures in that area which could lead to some traffic issues, especially when you add tourists into the traffic mix. The parade will effect the Forks Of The River Parkway which could lead to the traffic tie-ups. The parade will be coming up northbound Forks of the River Parkway starting at 11am. People driving southbound on state route 66 are being told to use route 448 to detour them around downtown. That parade route will be

First Baptist Church to Court Avenue to westbound South Honey Lane.

Right (north) onto Forks of the River Parkway.

Right (east) onto Main Street.

Right (south) onto Court Avenue, ending at the First Baptist Church.

Sevierville police say that you should avoid that area from 11am-1pm this Saturday December 3.
