Shoplifter Charged With Criminal Impersonation

A woman in Morristown shoplifted from Wal-Mart and tried to blame it on her mother. Loss prevention caught the woman stealing and called police. The woman stated she was 75 year old Sylvia Thompson. However, officers investigated that claim and found that Sylvia Thompson was the woman’s mother. The shoplifter was 57 year old Tracey Kyle. She stated she gave her mother’s mane to police to avoid accurate prosecution. Kyle is now charged with not just shoplifting but also criminal impersonation.
