Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival Moving Closer
The annual Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival is moving…and it will be a little closer for residents in this area. After being held at Maryville College for several years, Organizers of the popular event have announced the 2022 edition of the two day Scottish festival will be held at the Townsend Visitor’s Center. The event stays in Blount County but moves a little closer to the Gatlinburg area.
The annual spring festival includes Scottish traditional competitions, Scotch tasting, Border Collie demonstrations, and performers coming from across the country. The 2022 Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival will be held on May 21 and 22…and once again that will be at the Townsend Visitors Center.
