State Grants Helps Place SRO’s In Cocke County Schools
Schools back in session for all schools in the area. Something, or shall we say, someone, has now been added to each school in Cocke County. A $900,000 grant from the state of Tennessee has allowed the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office to place a School Resource Officer in each school in the county. The state grant fully funds each deputy’s salary, benefits, training, and equipment. There is even a School Resource Officer now at the Cocke County High School Alternative School.
Here are the School Resource Officers for Cocke County:
Clark Maples – Delrio, Danny Hartsell – Parrottsville, Lt. Danny Ray Reece – Cosby High, Steven Hancock – Edgemont, Jospeh Dinwiddie – Smokey Mountain, Sgt. Dan Williams – Cocke County High School, Colby Franco – Grassy Fork, Randy Forbes – Bridgeport, Leahla Hance – Centerview, Katie Spann – Cosby Elementary, Brock Hannah – Cocke County Alternative, and Jalynn Ensley – Northwest.
