Stolen Vehicle Found On Logging Road

Thursday morning a stolen vehicle was recovered in Cocke County. White Pine police notified the Cocke County sheriff’s office that a vehicle that many departments had been in pursuit of was crossing into Cocke County. Sheriff’s deputies located the vehicle that had been driven up onto English Mountain Road, then onto an old logging road, making it nearly impossible to retrieve. That vehicle had been stolen from a Knox County woman back in early August. The driver of the vehicle was later apprehended. Their identity has not been released.
