Third Person Charged In Fatal Shooting
A third person is now being charged in relation to that fatal shooting in Hamblen County early Sunday. The woman who rented the Airbnb, Gracious Boruff, is being charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child. According to authorities, Boruff rented the Airbnb where the shooting happened and she brought three juveniles to that party.
Shots were fired during that party and two people, 16 year old Jayden Andrew Bullard of McMinn County and 19 year old Marsalous Tre-Dante Vestel of Morristown were both killed in the shooting. Two others were injured but were treated and released at area hospitals.
18 year old Adam Perez, Jr. of White Pine and 19 year old Talan Trevathan of Sevierville are being charged in the shooting. They were arraigned yesterday and remain in the Hamblen County jail being held without bond.
Airbnb says that Boruff’s account has been suspended and they are investigating the incident. Sheriff Chad Mullins says that investigators are still in the process of interviewing witnesses that were at the party. After those interviews are concluded, more charges could be filed in this case.
