Two Arrested For Assaulting Elderly Victims

Police were dispatched Saturday night to the Long Branch Saloon and Grill about a fight. Patrons at the establishment pointed out 29 year old Brenda Depreo and 28 year old Matthew Bailey as the ones who had instigated the fight. One of the victims, 86 year old Margie Lentz, stated that she was kicked in the back by Depreo, who was heavily intoxicated. Victims that were 68 and 72 years of age told police they were attacked by Matthew Bailey. Both Depreo and Bailey are being charged with multiple counts of assault, plus abuse of an elderly or vulnerable adult, plus public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
