Two Arrests Sunday On Hwy 160
Two arrests on Hwy 160 on Sunday. First Cocke County was advised about a man driving a white van with a ladder rack driving erratically on the highway…witnesses told police that the man had hit a fence and was all over the road. Deputy Bryce Pickens saw that vehicle on 160 near Airport Road and observed that van make a u-turn at Holt Road and fail to maintain its lane…Pickens pulled that van over driven by Jesus Salvador…who refused to do sobriety tests as he knew he would fail them. Salvador was arrested for DUI…
Then later on Sunday, Deputy Randy Forbes observed a 2008 Chevy Malibu traveling 70 mph in a 45 zone. When the driver was pulled over, Forbes found the driver Christopher Richard Gregg did not have a drivers license as it had been revoked for DUI…plus Gregg had no proof of insurance. Gregg was transported to the Cocke County Jail.
