Two Charged In Hamblen County Fatal Shooting
Two people, one from Jefferson County and one from Sevier County have been charged in connection with a deadly shooting in Hamblen County early Sunday.
Hamblen County Sheriff Chad Mullins announced the arrests late Mopnday night saying said 18-year-old Adam Perez Jr., of White Pine, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder, while 19-year-old Talan Wayne Trevathan, of Sevierville, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder, party to the offense. Both are being held without bond at the Hamblen County Jail. They are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning in Hamblen County Court.
Mullins says more charges could be filed. Early Sunday morning shots rang out at a party at an Airbnb in Talbott. A 16 year old and 18 year old were killed, their identities have not been released. Two others were injured in the shooting. Authorities say that most of the people at the party were juveniles from surrounding counties. It is not known whether anyone from Cocke County was present when that shooting took place.
