Two Dandridge Men Sentenced For child Pornography

Two Dandridge men will spend over a dozen years in prison after they were sentenced last week in federal court for production of child pornography. 27 year old Alan Malott was sentenced to 195 months and 25 year old Christopher Thurman was sentenced to 180 months in prison. The two had pled guilty to the charges against them. According to documents filed in the case, Malott and Thurman admitted in 2019 they filmed themselves raping a minor family member of Malott’s. Malott then sent the video of the rape to his prior boyfriend in Louisiana and to Thurman. The defendants also admitted they sexually abused a horse and dog. Following their release from prison, both men will be on supervised release for life and will be required to register with state sex offender registries and comply with special sex offender conditions.
